Harry Angel (played by Mickey Rourke) is a bottom of the barrel simple task New York detective hired by Louis Cyphere (played by Robert De Niro) at a law firm called Herman and Winesap. Louis hires Harry to locate a missing wartime crooner, Johnny Favorite, that he claims is indebted to him. In this “neo-noir” psychological horror, you are escorted on a journey through the world of Voodoo, murder mystery, steamy sex, and legendary deal making with the devil for fame and fortune.

Disko Anksiyete takes one back to the 80’s in more ways than just one. In addition to a hefty Sisters of Mercy influence, there is a very strong new wave influence, e.g. A Flock of Seagulls and Nena. The album does not, however, recycle old material. She Past Away keeps the old elements sounding new and fresh and relevant, as well as insanely dance-able.

At an abandoned asylum, photos of a latex nurse were left behind. They were uncovered in a metal file cabinet inside a bolted down locker by nocturnal trespassers who roamed the premises scouting for unique historical treasures. Inside the decaying hospital, they uncovered a rundown electroshock room and various vials of syringe meds in a locked cabinet. The shredded rubber had been ripped off the walls of the solitary confinement ward.

In the heat of the summer, the undead sea maidens wash up to shore for a festive night of Voodoo in the Tropics. On this remote castaway island in the South Pacific, the ceremonial magic ends with a huge volcanic eruption. The sirens of this mysterious cult return back to the water before the hot lava ascends, coating the beachfront sands with a sizzling hot potion of fruition from nature’s caudron. Returning back to the salty sea, a mermaid arrives just in time to capture a sea captain’s fancy. These photos were captured at the annual assembly where these aquatic water nymphs are spotted. Dur
