On the Edge: Goths and Bullies [ARTICLE]

Bullying, sociologically speaking, is an unwanted behavior that brings a power imbalance. You are surely bullied if someone spreads rumors about you or attacks you physically or verbally, and you feel excluded by the rest of the group (ex: work team, class, etc). In recent times is born cyber-bullying that takes place using modern technology (ex: creating fake social network profiles, e-mails, text messages, and phone calls). One in every four children is bullied, but in 85% of case, there is no intervention.

Redrawing Gender Boundaries: How Wonder Woman’s Box Office could help change Hollywood [EDITORIAL/ARTICLE]

Many of our Goth Family know that I fight fiercely for the empowerment of women, not by diminishing men, but by arguing for the simple removal of artificial gender barriers like the glass ceiling and other cultural artifacts from the past. Where is the Funeral? How the Color Black Became Associated with Death and Mourning. [SPOKESMODEL ARTICLE]

Where is the funeral? is a question that many Gothic people have been asked while out and about in their Gothic garb. From Critic to Costar: A Nightmare Come True [RETROSPECTIVE/ARTICLE]

Hanging out at the Rotting Corpse Production table during ScareFest 2015 would prove to be a life-changing experience. A young actress by the name of Sonya Delormier asked if I would help to promote an upcoming Kentucky film called The Wicked One, and handed me a postcard-sized picture of the movie cover. Being a huge fan of independent horror films I was more than happy to spread the word. Never did I imagine I’d also end up being part of this slasher flick!
