GLAMOUR CASTING 101
The art of Casting a Glamour is an Old Hollywood term that is common lingo for movie stars, runway models, and the music industry. It is the art of illusionary magic. Some say love is an illusion, life is an illusion, death is an illusion, so why not add the art of filming into the spectrum?
Whether the filming be categorized as a motion picture, still photography, or an audio track, it all adds up to capturing the moment in tangible form that may be called upon in recorded event and taped for your archives to access and display freely. Due to the computer age, we are now privileged to have an abundance of new filing systems that make the old filing cabinets, storage boxes, and ledgers posting the whereabouts of things, pretty much obsolete.
Glamour casting is a form of magic and if you choose to work it into a high systematic long drawn out ritual, then go for it. For some, they have nailed the art of high magic and swear by the system. Every object in the temple needs to be perfectly aligned, the stars in the solar system must be set at a particular time for the ritual to occur, particular deities must be invoked along with a rigid set of chants or spoken word. If your life runs best on this system, then so it is and more power to you.
For me personally, I have found that the best Glamour Casting magic is in the form of non-conventional low magic from the Romany gypsy culture. Honing in on what they call “zee” energy, which simply put means transcending cosmic energy from an altered state of consciousness to manifest a desirous outcome, is the key to working this kind of magic into your life. How do we acquire this “zee” energy? From my own experience I have found the most responsive way to align a ‘best outcome’ is to match your creative vision of how you wish to project yourself onto film then add it into the essence of your own personal energy field. Next question is “How do we do this?” From past involvement I find it is best to reserve a little ritual funding tucked away. While making your plans, remember to go and rent that Castle Garden suite that makes you feel like a million bucks, then hire a photographer in that area. Allow yourself ample time to go shopping for things needed for the event. Find that perfect fragrance that brings out your best in the persona you wish to capture on film. Put together your custom soundtrack of what music stirs your soul into becoming what you choose to project. Start shopping for that fabulous wardrobe while researching the magazines for ideas on hair and makeup. Keep in mind that all creation is formed through thoughtforms. Program your subconscious through visualization and feel the ecstasy of intention manifested. This is an especially useful tool to call upon right before you go to sleep. When gathering your items, connect with what you absolutely love and in this case that which is in alignment with your projected outcome, making these elements part of your magic.
For a dazzling aura, I suggest scheduling your shoot days after the bills are paid up, the list of chores is done, errands are run, and all that mundane icky stuff that bogs you down is out of the way. Stock up on healthy, lighter groceries for the week and lighten up your mental load. Zee rituals in glamour casting I have discovered, usually last 2-3 days. Before this time, see to it that your home and car is cleaned. Clear all clutter. Have your laundry done and out of the way. Have your automobile’s regular maintenance intact, especially if you plan to travel by car. Once you clear the clutter, look in the mirror and you will most likely find that your aura is much clearer and sparkles in radiance. Remember that we project from the inside out and when you feel really good it shows up on film. After all that is done, gather your items for the filming on the night before the onset and have everything packed. Have your navigation set and if going to a remote area, have a tangible route on paper as a backup for your phone navigation. After that, a professional massage or a nice candlelit dinner is an beautiful way to end the evening. Adding freshly laundered sheets to your bed and burning a candle are wonderful precursors for glamour casting 101. Relax and start becoming who you wish to project on that screen.
Check into your room and take at least one day off before a scheduled photo shoot. Have your nails done and while you’re at it request a paraffin softening treatment. Take a quick hot shower with your favorite shower gel and put on that soundtrack you reserved. Throw on some comfortable clothes. Take some “time out” to meditate near a quiet lakeside retreat. Scope out a place for a fabulous dinner then walk in and make reservations. Enjoy a relaxing stroll down a little quaint shopping area and sample the local treats lightly. Window shop lavishly and if something special intrigues your fancy, splurge on a souvenir. Go enjoy that fabulous dinner at the table you chose to reserve and if you feel a need for more, check into the local theater and watch that movie you’ve been wanting to see. Whatever you do, don’t overexert yourself, as you will need to reserve that energy like a wild cat reserving the thrill of the pounce, for the film session. When you find yourself back to your Castle Garden Suite, light the fireplace, play your customized music set list, add some scented salts to your jacuzzi bath and set your glamorous mood ablaze. Remember to stay hydrated with plenty of liquids. After all is done, get a good night’s sleep and imagine a splendid outcome on your day ahead. The preliminaries have already been laid out so you know what to do. Remember to bring your soundtrack and put on that perfume, as these are two great elements to get your motor steamrolling! Once the set is up and running, magnify your bewitching mood and unleash that reserved pent up telekinetic energy you’ve been storing into a frolic of charismatic enchantment. In perfect time with “lights, camera, action”, let your film star’s magnetic sorcery begin!
