GM needs to stop dithering and say they will offer this SUV, complete with the 2.8 Diesel and a gas v6 option. Regarding the arguments of too many SUVs in the line-up, one only has to look at Toyota and Nissan's extensive offerings. While the body-on-frame architecture is "old-school", it still portends to be a real SUV vs the softer tall station-wagons posing as CUVs. I know that were I in the market for an SUV that wasn't full-size I'd be looking hard at this over the Explorer or the new Pathfinder.

In my experience I got the worst grades in college from the stupidest profs, including one English teacher who couldn’t spell and an anthropology teacher who referred to Algerians as founders of the black liberation movement (I don’t think she took it well when I asked if she was actually just confused by the term “pieds noirs”). But hey, they were both hawt. The sad thing is, my dream was to be an anthropologist after I visited the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago when I was 12. I know that will never happen now, but it’s like twisting a blade in my gut when I see what’s become of the field these days.
